Metal captivates me. I use sterling silver, copper, shakudo, gold, bronze and semi-precious stones in my work. Techniques include: Mokume Gane, Inlay, Marriage of Metals, Piercing, Stone Setting, Reticulation and Keum Boo. I get inspiration from my urban surroundings lamp posts, street grates, metal gates, & subway stations. I find beauty in the gritty and the industrial and have a fascination with roundness. As I continue to learn new techniques, explore new ideas, and study with new teachers my work continues to evolve and grow.
