I’m always taking snap shots with my minds eye and sometimes with a camera, where ever I’m at. Observing the shapes, colors, light and contrast of this ever changing and beautiful world we live in.I knew very early that art was my passion and that has never changed.One day I was at the beach. The surf was crashing in on the dark pitted rocks, then receding, leaving thousands of tiny bubbles . The sun reflected numerous colors off of each and every shape.It was so inspiring that I painted several paintings from that simple observation. Through my paintings I try to capture the feeling of that moment and others through out my life.People will ask “How long did it take you to paint that?” My answer is always the same. “All my life.” Painting fills me with a sense of accomplishment and has proven to be my avenue for translating inner vision to outer reality.
