My work is inspired by difficult emotions and things that bring peace after extreme stress. Half of my work ruminates on difficult past events in my personal life and nightmares that plague my sleep, and the other half is pure whimsy, joy, and comfort! Art has always been an emotional outlet for me, but it has also been a way to relax, find happiness in silly things, and to make others happy as well. You'll see this dichotomy reflected in my work. One day I'll work on something moody and dark, the next I'll draw two cats cuddling. Both soothe my soul and I hope it does the same for other people.
