I am a Cuban-American artist who has focused on the figure across many different diciplines. I have experience in painting, sculpture, animation, comic books, and video games. I enjoy making works of art that isolate the subject so you can concentrate on their characteristics and flourishes. For me, creating art is a chance to reflect on my own idenity, and I do that by examining the connection between my figures, their adornments, and the environment around them. In a range of media and styles, my body of work is a continuing exploration. My progress is fueled by trying out new workflows where my understanding of depiction is challenged and expanded.
