Mixed Media Artist

I received my formal training in sculpture at the Art Students League of NY and The Sculpture Center, both located in NYC. I went on to apply what I had learned on the technical side of sculpture as well as the design aesthetic of my art to my home furnishings design. I had my own business in NY for a number of years, and recently in the summer of 2010 returned to my home state, Oregon. The mediums that I use for my art; steel, art glass, and reclaimed wood I use as well in my home furnishings. The line is a fine one between the art and the home furnishings, furthering the debate as to what is art and what is craft.
