Backseat Window is the collaborative work of Portland wood and fiber artists Rebecca and Craig Demeter. Created from repurposed lumber, our woodburned, rayon-flocked acrylic paintings have a 70s cosmic vibe and a velvet feel. We use bright color, textural dimension, geometric shape and naive form to explore themes of time, perception and consciousness.
