For 37 years I've worked full time as a writer and artist of children's books. My best known character is Rotten Ralph. There are 20 books in print from Houghton Mifflin Co., Harper Collins and Farrar, Straus and Giroux. www.nicolerubel.com Many things inspire. My first dog, ever, is a Pembroke Welsh Corgi. Her name is Fang. I started photographing her and playing with her images in photoshop. I decorated the oversized cards with rhinestones, glitter, satin ribbons and other objects. Miss Corgi Cards by Nicole Rubel are the beautiful results of my efforts.
