My art stems from my imagination.
I believe the source of my creativity draws from my background.

Growing up I had an interest in science fiction and fantasy. In large part appreciating the freedom it allows, I apply that same kind of freedom to my art.

I have always been fascinated with history. be it Medieval, Roman or Chinese. My time spent living in Germany, as a Platoon Tank Commander with the US Army, only fueled this interest. Exposure to the rich culture and pastoral scenes in Europe enhanced my love of nature. Living in the Pacific Northwest continues to do so.

All of my life experience combines to influence my style.
