I've been sewing quilts and purses for the past 15 years. Picking out fabrics and piecing them together is a bit like painting with fabric, and I like the mosaic-look that patchwork has when it is finished. All of my designs are original. I tend to find inspiration from purse-watching in public places. I try to create 'functional' art, so think along the lines of creating purses and accessories that serve specific utilitarian needs. My purses and accessories are generally made with bright colors, bringing some fun and whimsy into my customers' daily lives.
