Mary T Garcia,
Mixed Media Artist

Mary Garcia was born & raised in Houston, Texas where her love for making art & adventuring started as a wee wild one. She graduated PNCA with a BFA in General Fine Arts to include a Global Studios Program in Belgium & Germany, PSU with a BS in Geology & GCU with a Master’s in Secondary Education.

Mary Garcia has been playing, working & wandering the wilder in the Columbia River Gorge for the last decade. She continues to share her passions as an Art and Science & is currently a High School Teacher at Hood River Valley High School. She also volunteers with Art Smart Trout Lake & is a member of the White Salmon Arts Council.

She continues to combine her interests in Art + Science to create representations of magical places as she wander the wilder for inspiration to share with her community.
