My name is Mariah Roelfs, I was born, raised and currently reside in Portland, Oregon. On September 24th, 2014, I was diagnosed with Juvenile Open Angle Glaucoma.

I decided to make a full-time commitment to producing fine art, with WaterDamnages serving as the current title of my works. In 2019 I've successfully established an online presence.

My watercolor paintings of mushrooms exemplify the principles of abstract surrealism. They are made with the highest quality materials because art is an enduring journey worthy of the investment. My work is intentionally made to last a lifetime.
