I'm a first-generation Cuban-American artist from Miami, FL, currently based out of Portland, OR.

I've been into drawing since I was a child, and have experimented with several mediums over the past 15 years, such as painting (watercolor, gouache, acrylic, oil), printmaking, digital art, and collage. I also have a background in anthropology.

I have an appreciation for the natural sciences, particularly plants and crystals, and often find myself inspired by scientific illustrations. I also incorporate aspects of the human condition into my work. My studies in cultural anthropology have a tremendous influence on my approach to producing art, and I enjoy learning through what I create.
