As a metal artist I enjoy using found materials in the creation of my work.

Currently I’m exploring work that is intended to inspire and uplift the viewer. Humor is a definite theme throughout my creative career. The materials that make up my work might be found in scrap yards, recycling centers, old barns or the side of the road. They might be discarded machine parts, car parts, old nails, rusty bed springs, or broken hinges. During fabrication, which is completed with the MIG welding technique, the parts might be ground, cut, and/or bent using tools such as a plasma cutter, angle grinder, horizontal band saw, wire cup brush, and bending wheel.
