I am a happy as can be Portland Oregon resident. I find much of my inspiration from the beauty and creativity that surrounds me on each and every street corner of my quirky city. Also, I wouldn’t be where I am now without the unconditional love and forgiveness of my God and my Savior, Jesus Christ. It is through my personal relationship with him that I find energy and inspiration to live and create. It was in a very dark place that I began painting many years ago. It has become a life-giving outlet and source of joy in my life that I now, could never function without.

Many of my paintings are a personal expression of my surroundings and my emotional struggles. I have found that processing experiences through the form of art, gives me the ability to experience the beautiful gift of redemption. I have the wonderful opportunity each and every time that I pick up a paint brush to capture struggles that lead to so much growth and joy.

All of my work is done with Acrylic paints and an occasional mix of fiber paste and mixed media.
