I work in the traditions of a realist painter, yet with a zen practice sensibility without the eye for the marketplace. my work is very minimal with a heavy dose of nature. i work internationally, and will be part of the 2018 European Capitals of Culture in Leeuwarden,NL. I am an activist upcycler for over 40 years, and my design work is for clients as diverse as Uptown Espresso in Seattle, the estate of Billie Holiday, Wilco...and am considered one of the people in graphics responsible for the resurgence in Americana and hand lettering. I also work in sound, and regular play in Portland, Amsterdam and on the street
