I make planters & bowls by throwing clay on a wheel hand glazing and firing

Each time I sit down to a lump of clay I love thinking of all the possible shapes I could make. I work to capture subtle curves and silhouettes in my pieces. With the small living spaces we create for ourselves, I focus on small planters that can easily fit on a window sill, work desk or kitchen sink to brighten up our surroundings.

There's nothing quite like opening a freshly fired kiln to a new batch of pottery pieces, it's the same feeling I used to get on Christmas morning when I was 8 years old. One day back in 2002, I decided to take a pottery class, I've been hooked ever since.
