As a lifelong beach lover, I picked up glassblowing at the Jersey Shore in 2003. I immediately feel in love with the fluid medium and began sprinkling sand from my local beach inside the pendants I was making. I found the texture of the sand adds a component to the glass that is very intriguing and sentimental at the same time. With years of experience working for jewelry designers in NYC, I bring across designs that are uniquely laid back and able to be enjoyed for years. My sand collection spans the globe to share the peaceful yet powerful energy of the ocean in a fashionable and affordable way. I also offer custom glass cremation memorials where I infuse ashes into keepsakes for grieving loved ones. Beach Diamond Jewelry's studio is located in Southeast Portland.
