Grumpy painter guy, also known as Charles paints surreal landscapes and situations, strange creatures, and abstract expressions as well as the odd penguin and grapefruit. He primarily uses acrylic paint on wood. Charles paints because of the empowerment in making ideas that only exists in your imagination real. Charles grew up in St. Johns, Portland, OR. He studied theatre, painting, drawing and at the University of Portland and has continued working, painting and studying independently since.
