In the past year or so many life altering events have happened to me. I've loved completely and lost entirely. It has been a hard process for me to work through the slew of emotions, all of which contradicted each other. My artwork has allowed me to express myself, find what I was feeling, and to learn and grow from it. My art has had more raw emotion and vulnerability that my earlier work lacked. For me painting is cathartic, and I have found myself in tears in front of canvas, only to have a sense of peace and relief after it is done.
I work with acrylic paint on canvas.
