Final First Thursday — 2020

Hello to you and goodbye to this year in which our dynamic 20th anniversary arts celebration was interrupted by the pandemic. We have instead spent this season attempting to support our artists and reach our patrons virtually. This was a challenging year. On this Final First Thursday of 2020 we hope you and your people are well, and you know you have been missed. The community, the businesses, and all of us at Urban Art Network have missed you and our events. As we head into a brand new year of First Thursdays, we are optimistic that next year things will improve, and we can meet again.

Looking for help: Urban Art Network is pleased to share that our new Virtual Art Show platform is ready to go live, and we are looking for a handful of artists to test it out, give us some feedback and see how it works. This is a great way to get involved in creating an opportunities for artists from the comfort of your own home. If you would like to get involved in our testing process, please send a quick note here.

2021 volunteers:

This past year brought about many changes in our small, volunteer run organization. Urban Art Network is looking for new volunteers to get involved in creating opportunities for independent artists. We have a wide range of ways you can get involved, from support at the on-site event, to positions on our Board. If you would like to get involved with Urban Art Network please send a note.

Wishing you well:

As 2020 comes to a close we want to extend our warmest wishes of health and happiness to you, your families and loved ones. We hope this season brings you creativity and joy.

So long 2020!

So long 2020

Take great care, and we hope to see you in 2021 on First Thursday!

Looking forward,
Urban Art Network
