Artist, entrepreneur. Native Texan, thrilled to be in PDX now.
Through college and beyond, for many years, I was belittled for doing photo realistic art and portraits. Who cares? everybody said. And so i thought so, too, for a long, long time. So Life happens, you get busy, and the art goes by the wayside. But I was always intrigued by collage, mixed media, and gradually began creating realistic art but incorporating paper, over drawing, etc... to enhance that realism. So THEN the problem was that I didn't have one particular style, I was all over the board. Again, resistance. But now in my "twilight years" (said with a wink) I don't give a rats ass, think what you will. I am using every available medium, technique, exploring every subject that intrigues me, and loving every second of it.
